Software Engineer/Full-Stack Engineer
Translating MVP and wireframe to build excellent user-facing apps and integrating various back-end services to build full-stack apps.
My name is Cadence Chen, and I am a software engineer. I always feel impressed by developers who build web and mobile apps, and I am very curious about how they make computers listen and react to users' motions. I feel motivated to learn a programming language. I went to city college to take basic web development classes, and I want to know more about it. So I interned at a non-profit organization as a web developer intern to manage their website and build and deploy an eCommerce page. Later, I joined Techtonica to develop my full-stack app development skills and MLH to work on an open-source Enzyme project. Now, I work as a full-stack software engineer intern at a fintech company to build a new dashboard version. I enjoy building great applications and features because I am very happy to see my work empowering and impacting users.
A social networking app connects people who share in common together and stay connected. Users can take a photo and send their moments to different users and then connect them as friends. My app brings users who share the same feeling or experience to be connected.
A book app allows users to comment on an individual book.
The following pictures I used blending modes, layer masks, and adjustment layers to create these stunning pictures.
First, I used blending modes to blend the pictures well togther, then used layer masks to reveal the area I want on the top layer. Last, I used the adjustment layers to modify the brightness and color change.
